Job vacancy Meeting & Events Executive Luxury Hotel Co Mayo

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced  Sales and Marketing Executive  to join the Sales & Marketing team of our client, a well-established, luxury hotel in Co Mayo.

Reporting to the Sales & Marketing Director, the Sales and Marketing Executive will be responsible for managing 2 sites within the hotels collection.

The ideal candidate will have a tourism or hotel industry qualification and at least 2 years experience in Sales and Marketing within tourism, hospitality and /or events industry.  You must have an understanding of Irish tourism, in particular the various segments of the Irish tourism market and be strategic and commercially astute.

You must also have excellent analytical, problem solving skills and excellent communication skills-both written and verbal, with good report writing skills.  Ideally, you will have budget management experience and be a strong public speaker with good front of house skills.  You must have a customer-centred approach and be highly motivated with excellent leadership skills.
