Job vacancy Tax Technician

Our client, a well-established firm of Chartered Accountants in Dublin City, is in search of a Tax Technician to become a valuable addition to their Tax Team. We are interested in speaking with accounting professionals who have 1-3 years of experience and are enthusiastic about advancing their careers with this exciting new opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Aid in the preparation and review of tax filings for individuals, partnerships, and corporations.
• Handle payroll and VAT returns processing.
• Undertake general tax administration duties.
• Ensure timely delivery of work and address day-to-day inquiries promptly.
• Collaborate closely with clients to maintain high service standards.

Experience & Qualifications:

• Must possess a Tax and/or Accounting Technician Qualification.
• IPASS Qualification is advantageous.
• Demonstrated experience working in a fast-paced tax or accounting setting.
• Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.
• Familiarity with Tax, Accounting, and Payroll softwares.
• Eagerness to acquire new skills.

• Robust technical and organizational proficiencies, with the ability to thrive under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Capability to work effectively within a team as well as independently.
• Adaptability in task allocation and adeptness in prioritizing tasks to meet stringent deadlines.
• Strong communication skills and confidence in addressing inquiries.
• Discretion in handling sensitive information.
