Job vacancy Trainee Accountant

Our client is seeking a Trainee Accountant to become part of their team located in Dublin 18 on a 3 year Fixed-Term Contract . This presents an excellent opportunity for a finance graduate keen on embarking on a career in accountancy to develop and thrive within a well-established organisation. This position follows a hybrid work model, one day a week required in the office.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assisting in the preparation of monthly management accounts
• Conducting balance sheet analysis
• Analysing daily and monthly gross margins
• Managing cash flow
• Overseeing creditor ledger
• Formulating claims to manufacturers
• Handling Revenue Submissions
• Providing support to various departments across the company
• Conducting bank reconciliations
• Managing item costing/pricing
• Assisting in audit preparation
• Undertaking ad-hoc tasks

Essential Requirements:

• Possession of a relevant 3rd level qualification in Business/Accountancy
• Currently pursuing a professional accountancy qualification (ACCA, CIMA, IATI)
• Proficient in MS Excel, Word & Windows
• Strong verbal & written communication skills
• Numeric skills with a robust ability to review, assess, and present financial information
• Demonstrated aptitude for hard work
• Ability to work under pressure within a team environment
• Consistent track record of meeting deadlines and targets
• Self-motivated with a high level of drive, enthusiasm, and commitment
• Excellent organisational, analytical, and time management skills
• A positive attitude

Compensation:

• Competitive salary range: EUR 30,000 annually with a EUR 2000 annual bonus
