Job vacancy Senior Practice Manager

Storm Recruitment is currently partnered with a well established firm of Chartered Accountants in Dublin City. We are looking to speak with experienced accounting professionals with 7 years post qualification experience, who are eager to progress within their accounting careers with this new Senior Practice Manager role.

Responsibilities:

• Proactively manage client expectations and serve as the primary point of contact for clients with turnovers up to EUR 10m+.  Address specific client needs, including non-audit transactional work, due diligence, management accounts, and financial guidance.
• Oversee a diverse portfolio of clients across various industries.
• Supervise Accountancy Services for the firms clientele
• Contribute to shaping the firms accounting technology strategy and lead the implementation of new accounting solutions.
• Assist in managing the teams financial performance, including fee agreement and billing, cash collections, and monitoring WIP recoverability.
• Participate in coaching, mentoring, and appraising staff.

Skills and competencies required:

• ACA or ACCA qualification with a minimum of 7 years PQE.
• At least 5 years of post-qualification experience in practice with a strong technical background and expertise in financial/management accounts.
• Demonstrated management skills and leadership qualities.
• Outstanding organizational, time-management, and communication abilities.
• Strong market/commercial awareness.
• Proficiency in accounting software packages with a keen interest in adopting new software.
• Ability to utilize and integrate AI-based accounting software, accounting tools, and connected app functionality internally and for clients.
• Client-focused with initiative, enthusiasm, and problem-solving acumen.
• Capacity to handle confidential information discreetly and exercise sound judgement and decision-making when necessary.
