Trinity Green Energies (TGE) is a research and development enterprise based out of Trinity College Dublin. Founded in 2014, the company encompasses a diverse range of scientific and business interests, as represented by its founders. TGE has secured an agreement with its parent institution to investigate and develop cutting-edge energy technologies, and is currently in possession of a number of international patents. The company is backed by private investors as well as participating in publicly-funded research projects, and is a proud innovation partner of the SFI-funded AMBER Centre, which specializes in the research and development of novel materials and nanotechnology.
