Smart Dublin

Smart Dublin is an ambitious project spearheaded by the four Dublin Local Authorities to collaborate with smart technology providers, researchers, and citizens to create innovative solutions to improve city life. Dublin is striving to become a world leader in the development of new urban solutions and is utilizing open data and the city region as a testing ground. To that end, Smart Dublin is spearheading a program that seeks to develop solutions to address the city's needs, with an emphasis on utilizing the potential of emerging technologies and public data. Mobility, environment, energy, waste, and emergency management are identified as priority challenges.
