Job vacancy Financial Accountant – Hybrid – Sandyford

We are looking for a Financial Accountant to join our South Dublin based client in Sandyford on a Hybrid basis.

The role will report to their Chief Financial Officer, this is a great opportunity for the successful candidate in terms of career and progression.

The Role:

• Preparation of monthly management accounts, providing business and financial performance
• Group Consolidation, Balance Sheet reconciliations, Fixed Assets Register
• Preparation of budgets and forecasting
• External reporting (VAT, Intrastat, PSWT)
• Oversee working capital and operating cash flows
• Liaise with External auditors & Tax advisors.
• Banking and covenant compliance reporting
• Other Ad hoc duties

The Person

• Qualified accountant with minimum 3+ years relevant experience in a similar role
• Strong technical accounting skills
• Excellent analytical and decision-making skills
• Good general IT skills (Sage, MS Office, online banking, ROS etc).
• Team player, but able to work independently.
• Ability to plan and meet deadlines.
• Strong organisational skills
• Good communication skills when dealing with Stakeholders.
