Tabspace - Galway

Tabspace is the first peer review community for software developers, providing quantifiable insights into how engineering teams operate. We saw the challenge software engineers faced when researching new roles - time-consuming and vague job listings, long technical screening calls and code challenges. To make the process easier, we created a structured survey for developers to take about their current and former roles. This survey explores the approach to engineering, the day-to-day culture and career opportunities within the team and across the company. We use an approach similar to agile planning poker, which we call "review poker". Developers are asked a series of questions and asked to assign a value to the topics using our poker cards. Our reviews provide developers with valuable insights into development teams before they even start the interview process, helping them research teams and source roles that best fit their lifestyle and career goals. Additionally, teams can use our reviews to identify and act on any particular trends or areas of concern and to recognise successes.
