We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Deputy General Manager to join the senior management team of this 4-star property in Galway.  The ideal candidate will have at least two years experience as Deputy General Manager in a 4 or 5-star hotel.

Reporting to and supporting the General Manager, the Deputy GM will work alongside the GM to oversee the day-to-day operations for all areas of the hotel, motivating and leading staff to provide an excellent level of guest service.  We are seeking someone who is passionate about hospitality, with excellent motivation, leadership, organisation and communication skills and strong business knowledge.

Duties and Responsibilities Include:

• Assisting the General Manager in managing all aspects of the day-to-day operations of the hotel, ensuring impeccable presentation and maintenance standards of all hotel areas.
• Ensuring the team are motivated to deliver excellent service to guests.
• Working alongside the General Manager to maximise profitability through budgeting, cost control, forecasts, and stock management/control.
• Following up on guest feedback in a timely manner.
• Monitoring and implementing team training and development.
• Promoting a strong work ethic, with emphasis on effective communication practices and a positive attitude.

Salary 70k+
