We have an exciting new role for an experienced HR Executive to join the HR team of this beautiful 4-star property in Sligo.  Reporting to the HR Manager, the HR Executive will proactively support the HR Manager in the HR function of the Hotel.

We are seeking a HR professional with a minimum of one year experience in a HR Executive or HR Administrator role, preferably in hospitality, with excellent administrative, communication and PC skills and the ability to work well on their own initiative as well as part of a team.  Fluent English is essential for this role.  A CIPD accredited qualification or working towards would also be preferable.  This is a full-time contract role.

Duties and Responsibilities Include:

  • Recruitment, selection, induction and onboarding of new team members
  • Training and development of the team, organising and documenting training and assisting the HR Manager with training, coaching and development
  • Administrative tasks, including updating and maintaining the HR system, issuing contracts, letters, correspondence, updating policies, filing etc.
  • Assisting the HR Manager with payroll duties, performance and appraisals and disciplinary meetings
  • Other duties as assigned by the HR Manager and General Manager
