We have an exciting role for a General Manager to take charge of  this beautiful, well run hotel located in Co Cork

Some of the duties of the role will be:

  • To oversee the day to day operations of all the departments in the hotel
  • Assess staff and supervising schedules to ensure that all departments have sufficient staff to assist guests whilst working within wage budgets
  • Overseeing HOD meetings and ensure there is a good working relationship with managers and staff alike
  • To comply with stationary and legal requirements for Fire, Health and Safety and Hygiene.
  • Work with external companies such as distributors, travel companies, planners for events/conferences, etc.
  • To oversee all the financial planning and budgets for each department of the hotel

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Previous experience as a General Manager/Deputy General Manager in a busy hotel operation
  • Excellent team management and motivation skills
  • Can prioritise what needs to be done on a daily basis
  • Excels at customer service and guest relations
  • Is financially astute when it comes to forecasting and budgeting
  • Encourages a positive attitude for both staff and guest throughout the hotel
  • A great listener and encourages team development in each department
  • Fluent English both written and orally
  • Can legally work in Ireland fulltime with no restrictions

An excellent salary is available to the right candidate
