Stylite Designs Ltd - Little island

Stylite Designs was started by Donal during the early 80’s while still in college. Donal and some of his friends had problems getting appropriately sized wheelchairs. Most wheelchairs are based on a standard shape, with models varying only by scaling up and down, this didn’t suite wide short people or narrow long people. Donal worked on the idea of designing the component parts of his chair like LEGO™ blocks, with many interchangeable parts.
