Abbey Retail was established in 2003. A division of Abbey Machinery, one of the leading manufacturers of agricultural machinery, a company which was founded in 1947 by the Cavanagh family.
Abbey Retail has built up a considerable base of customers from both the farming and contracting sector. And with its extensive range of hardware equipment it has attracted lots of other custom too. Within the stores we are stocking a huge variety of products from plough metal, tools, filters and the latest edition has been of genuine Kuhn parts.
Abbey Retail offers customers Abbey Machinery's complete product range along with being dealers for Massey Ferguson, Bogballe, Zerograzer, Kuhn, Rauch, Malone, Quicke, Rossmore, Ferri and more recently Aerlite trailers, along with many others. Although our

Clerihan branch have been main dealers for Kuhn for many years, our Nenagh branch has just been awarded the Kuhn franchise. These brands are well known to farmers up and down the country and have helped to establish Abbey Retail as the leading dealership serving parts of Co. Tipperary and the surrounding area.
In recent weeks Abbey Retail has started selling a full range of trailers. The 14’ x 5’9 tri-axle have been a particularly good seller to date.
The first couple of months of the year have started off very well with Massey Ferguson tractors continuing to grow a significant market share. On the machinery side of the business the Abbey 2500R as well as their new range of tandem recesses have proven to be very successful also.
