A beautiful Children of Lir Pendant made from Sterling Silver which comemorates the ancient Irish legend. Suffice to say - things did not go well for the children!
They were the victims of a wicked stepmother. She used black magic to turn the 4 children into swans and banished them for 900 years. They were saved by the sound of Christian bells, released from the spell, they were baptised and their souls went straight to heaven.
This jewellery is designed and made in Co Wicklow, Ireland by Fado Jewellers who are one of Ireland's premium brands. Fado are internationally known for their quality finish and high attention to detail. The owner and chief designer John Condron has a special love of Celtic myths and legends and has made this extraordinary piece in memory of a sad and tragic story.
