Job vacancy Production Operative

My client based in Enniskerry is seeking a Production Operative to join the team on a full-time permanent basis this is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is looking to join a fast-growing company in Wicklow.

The salary on offer for Year 1 Is EUR 25,480.00 and Year 2 is EUR 28,200.00. Candidates must have their own mode of transport as the site in based in a remote area.

Responsibilities

• To produce and pack candles to the highest standard and using all available best practice techniques
• To minimise waste and defective product and ensure product being despatched is of the highest standard.
• To comply with and assist in the development of World Class Health and Safety standards in the factory area
• To ensure the highest level of cleanliness and tidiness in the factory area
• To ensure the voice of the customer is heard in the production function and to ensure that the needs of the customer are paramount in all daily activity wherever relevant
• To label and pack candles to the highest standards and with attention to detail.
• Any other related tasks as may be assigned by management from time to time.
• Operating pallet trucks and loading / unloading vans/ trucks as necessary.

Associated Accountabilities

• Ensuring full completion of all paperwork as required by company processes and procedures
• Working with Head of Logistics & Purchasing Controller to ensure stocks of raw materials and kept above minimum levels.
• Check factory area is safe when leaving:
• Locking up and switching off/plugging out all unnecessary electrics
• Ensure the warehouse is always kept clean and tidy
• Receiving in product and raw material in line with best practice and company rules and policies.
• Operating forklift & pallet trucks and loading / unloading vans/ trucks as necessary.
• Assist co-workers in their tasks where necessary.
